The company has manufactured industrial scales in Hungary since the general use of electronic scales. From 1990 to 1998, the company - at that time named FLINTAB Kft - was a member of the international scale manufacturing group FLINTAB of Swedish ownership. Within short time the company achieved a Hungarian market share of 90 % in the field of railcar scale manufacturing, 20 % in the field of motor truck scale manufacturing and 95 % in the field of computerised automatic industrial scale systems based on WINDOWS. In 1998, the management of the company bought the FLINTAB business share and since then continues the activity under the name ARDIN LLC. Till the year 2000, we produced more than 60 railcar scale systems, 50 motor truck scales, a number of tank scales and platform scales in normal and ex-proof quality. We started the production of in-motion scale systems, completing 10 such systems in this period of time. Our program packages work with WINDOWS handling interface and graphic displaying, itegrated with middleware (SAP) and with phone modem RAS service supervision. We owe our quick success in this period to the FLINTAB SB shear beam load cell in the first place which is of determinative quality all over the world, to the application of up-to-date computer technology and programming engineering knowledge, and finally to our well defined business policy. From 2000, we work in our high-standard office building, designing and realising large industrial measuring and process controlling systems, supervising the undisturbed operation of our formerly installed numerous systems, and introducing our new products, the in-motion railcar and motor-truck scales and information systems for large companies, in the international market.
